CFSA’s Board of Trustees follows a long-term, diversified investment strategy guided by an annually approved Investment Policy Statement. The Investment Committee works with an Investment Consultant to oversee performance, monitor fund managers, ensure compliance, and provide quarterly reports on asset allocation and performance against IPS benchmarks.
The CFSA Board of Trustees oversees the foundation's investments in accordance with its Bylaws and Articles of Incorporation. It approves the annual Investment Policy Statement, selects Investment Committee members, and monitors investment pool performance.
The CFSA Board of Trustees partners with Cerity Partners, a national wealth and investment management firm. Cerity Partners advises clients on approximately $1.3 trillion in assets, including educational and charitable organizations. Its institutional consulting practice, formerly Verus, has served institutional clients since 1986.
The Community Foundation for Southern Arizona’s Investment Committee brings together experienced finance and investment professionals who provide guidance, oversight, and strategic direction to support the long-term growth and stability of CFSA’s assets.
