Shaaron Kent End-of-Life Care and Planning Grants

The Shaaron Kent Endowment Fund has inspired diverse projects and perspectives that explore the universal experiences of death, dying, and grieving. After the tragic and sudden death of Shaaron Kent, a portion of her estate came to CFSA to support three areas that she felt passionate about, including End-of-Life Care Services. The Shaaron Kent Endowment Fund was established in 2012 to honor her wishes. This fund embodies the generosity and intent of Shaaron, who embraced the cultural expressions of her adopted home in Mexico.

Antonia Moler talks about her mom, Shaaron Kent, “Her born nature was to be generous and giving, especially when it involved helping people with less means. For as long as I can remember, her outlook on life and people was extremely optimistic. Whatever way she could help people, whether through her occupation or the people she met, she would do all she could. She was always conscious of people who didn’t have as much as she did, and she wanted to share what she had to help them.”
