The Southern Arizona Nursing Scholarship was established to reduce the financial burden for students seeking an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing degree in preparation for the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) and Registered Nurse (RN) certification.
Scholarships are offered for one academic year. Recipients may reapply for up to four years of funding. Renewal of the scholarship is not guaranteed.
Additional Application Criteria
- Covers tuition and fees for eligible Southern Arizona community college nursing programs.
- Must qualify for in-state tuition.
- Must be accepted into and enrolled in an Associate of Applied Science Nursing program.
- Preference may be given to first-generation college students.
